Sickle Cell Council of New Mexico, Inc. is a statewide non-profit health agency, Our mission is to provide education, blood screening, genetic counseling and referrals for Sickle Cell Conditions. We serve Sickle Cell Disease patients and their families through direct support and social services. Our funding is provided though the New Mexico State Department of Health, corporate gifts, private contributions and memberships. The Council, organized in 1972, was the first agency in the state to establish programs for Sickle Cell Disease. |
