The Sickle Cell Council of New Mexico, Inc.
Is a statewide non-profit
health agency, Funding is provided though the New Mexico State Department of
Health, corporate gifts, private contributions and memberships. The Council,
organized in 1972, was the first agency in the state to establish programs for
Sickle Cell Disease..

Our Mission
To provide state wide
education, blood screening, genetic counseling and referrals for Sickle Cell
Conditions, and to serve Sickle Cell Disease patients and their families through
support and social services.
